It’s Done: Activision Blizzard’s Purchase May Be Closed After Appeal’s Final Rejection

These weeks have been crazy with the whole issue related to the purchase of Activision Blizzard and the lawsuit that took place due to the blockade caused by the American FTC.

Although the lawsuit was won by Microsoft, the FTC was quick to appeal the judge's sentence, so one would think that there would still be hurdles to clear before the Redmond company could finalize the purchase once and for all.

Luckily we had good news after these last blows and the presiding judge dismissed the FTC's appeal, leaving everything in the hands of the Ninth Judicial Circuit as a last hope on the part of the regulator so that the purchase cannot be made.

We now have confirmation that this call will not continue in any way, as word has spread quickly and major users like Klobrille they echoed that the U.S. Ninth Circuit also denied the appeal, so Microsoft could now complete the purchase and officially acquire Activision Blizzard.
