In January, Lenovo will present the future of the gaming handheld, to which Jason Ronald is also invited as VP of Next Generation.
Lenovo is inviting media representatives to the “Lenovo Legion x AMD: The Future of Gaming Handhelds” event in Las Vegas in January at CES 2025. The manufacturer could announce the first SteamOS handheld here, as The Verge suspects.
The fact that Pierre-Loup Griffais was announced as one of the special guests only underlines the assumption, after all he is the co-developer of the SteamDeck and SteamOS at Valve. He was announced as “Chief Design Architect” for the event.
Microsoft's Jason Ronald will also be present at the panel. Actually the “VP of Xbox Gaming Devices and Ecosystem”, he is announced as “VP of Next Generation” for the event. Ronald may have received a big promotion.
We're excited to see what Lenovo's event could mean for Microsoft and the Xbox ecosystem. Because we now know that many devices these days can be an Xbox. Maybe even the new handheld from Lenovo.
