According to a recent presentation, SEGA is re-releasing Jet Set Radio as a game with an open world.
During the Game Awards, SEGA announced that reboots for five iconic franchises are in the works. One of these reboots is Jet Set Radio. Details about the reboot are still scarce, but now it’s clear a presentationprepared for a management meeting, highlighting what many had already expected.
The new Jet Set Radio will be an open world game. So you can let off steam as you please. The presentation also included a new screenshot that underlines what has been communicated about the game so far. Jet Set Radio wants to offer you the opportunity to join a rebellious movement that feels free in the midst of a suffocating society.
SEGA Sammy
As recently became known, Jet Set Radio is probably not only part of the five SEGA reissues announced so far, but also a whole series of franchises that SEGA wants to bring back. The registration of several trademarks certainly suggests this.
