The Jet Set Radio remake is reportedly being developed using Unreal Engine 5.
SEGA launched a real remake offensive in December last year with the announcement of five new editions of the classic brands Jet Set Radio, Shinobi, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage and Crazy Taxi. According to reports there should even be ten games.

According to the unconfirmed information, Jet Set Radio will be released by the end of 2026. The game is being developed under the code name “Freedom” using Unreal Engine 5.
Both some employees from the original game and some from RGG Studio are involved in the development.
