The title inspired by the dodge ball from Velan Studios and EA Originals, City KO, encourages players to move on to the next generation. Starting November 2, fans will be able to play on Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5 at 120 FPS.
The new update for consoles is free and offers the possibility of fighting in 4K definition at 60 FPS. Fighters will also be able to choose between Performance or Quality mode in the settings menu; the options per platform are as follows:
- PlayStation 5: Native 4K at 60FPS or 1440p (upscaled to 4K) at 120FPS
- Xbox Series X: 4K nativo at 60FPS or 1620p (escalation to 4K) at 120FPS
● Xbox Series X: 4K nativo at 60FPS o 1620p (escalation to 4K) at 120FPS
The Velan team improved lighting with the added power of next-gen consoles, including new zone lights, ball lights, particle lights, improved overall lighting and local light shadows, giving the environment more reactions to the form in which the light illuminates the roads or casts shadows.
This update also features more faithful textures, previously only available on the PC and Xbox One versions. These textures create a more realistic environment
If a player already has City KO On PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, the update to this new version will be completely free since you can download the game from the store and fight again without losing a beat. Besides, If the game was originally purchased through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PlayStation Plus, the player will be eligible for this free update.
