Without a doubt, Hideo Kojima is one of the most beloved characters in the world of video games, so much so that his projects always arouse great expectations. Today I come to tell you a little more about the exclusive project that he is preparing for Xbox, when you know what happened with it it will be clear that Microsoft is a level above of other companies.
We were able to know this information thanks to an interview that Hideo carried out on the portal of IGN, which was quite rich in terms of content. There we could see news about the already presented Death Stranding 2 and of course, its exclusive project for Xbox. Concerning the latter, we were able to discover that Kojima wanted to develop this project for a long timebut no company trusted him.
Microsoft always provides the necessary
The author of the project says that he has been trying to realize this idea for about five or six years, quite a long time, of course… The reason for the delay is that everyone thought he was crazy and no one gave him the necessary tools; until Microsoft came along.
It’s a project I’ve been thinking about for 5 or 6 years. To be made, it needed a structure that had never been needed before. As a result, I discussed it with many big companies, even doing presentations, but they all seemed to think I was crazy. In the end, it was Microsoft who showed that they understood my project and now we are working together, also on the technological level.
For now there is still a lot of secrecy about it and absolutely nothing is known about the Kojima and Xbox project. While it’s true that the name “Overdose” has been mentioned a few times lately, we can’t confirm anything at this time, so we’ll keep an eye out for anything that might happen in the future.
