Play your way
New seasons of surveillance 2 will be released approximately every nine weeks and will contain new in-game items. You can progress through the Battle Pass to unlock free rewards, or you can purchase the Season 1 Premium Battle Pass to unlock even more exclusive seasonal content like the all-new Cyber Demon Genji Mythic skin and instant access to it surveillance 2‘s newest hero, Kiriko.
Completing challenges earns you Overwatch Coins, which you can spend on brand new cosmetic items in the in-game shop for a truly customized experience. The Season 1 Shop features exclusive bundles featuring your favorite heroes dressed in the Season 1 theme – Cyberpunk!

New places to play
surveillance 2 takes the fight worldwide with the addition of new maps in different game modes. While the official betas introduced Circuit Royal, Colosseo, Midtown, New Queen and Paraiso, the first season will also feature a new map – Esperança! This beautiful and detailed map is based on Portugal and features push mode gameplay. Going forward, a new map is expected to arrive every other season.
Recurring and exclusive seasonal events
Each season will also feature the return of past limited-time game modes and introduce brand new ones. Season 1 will feature the Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride event, pitting you against pursued enemies to complete your objective.

Let’s get you back in the fight! Pre-launch checklist for existing players
- Download before surveillance 2: Existing Xbox players can start downloading surveillance 2 at 9:00 a.m. PDT on Oct. 4.
- Merge your accounts: With the launch of cross-progression, you can merge multiple Overwatch accounts to carry over progression and in-game cosmetics surveillance 2 on a single profile. Those with multiple accounts will need to confirm their account merger in order to transfer progress over watch in surveillance 2. For more information on account merging, see our FAQ.
