One of the companies that has received the most play over the years has been the Telltale Games. They are the ones who transform and reconstruct the imagery in an original, efficient way and get their games to be distributed by episodes. But the Story of the Telltale Games was not always linked to success, as it needed to be rescued in order to survive. Now, the study is thinking about changing its shape. Telltale Games will not provide the continuation of episodic games, as confirmed by its title.
Chief Executive Officer, Jamie Ottilie, in the discussion given to him GameDaily.biz, revealed a plan for the future in which it was denied that the distribution of episodes was maintained. This means that they will not go into that happy time when games want to be brought to market fast. Telltale Games will not provide a continuation of episodic games, guaranteeing that they will completely upgrade the original games.
And it's that Ottilie may have found part of the problem of their failure in previous games, since "The episode was released with no idea when the next one will arrive". This can create a series of doubts and motivational forces that could negatively impact their recent headlines, especially when the economic crisis that has caused them to suffer the most from a recent project account becomes huge. And the first game that seems to sign up for this new publishing model will be The Wolf Kati Us 2, which also serves as a return to the roots of this study.
The launch of The Wolf Kati Us 2 was confirmed at the Game9 Game Awards, with a pitch that left wanting to know more about all fans of this license. However, even though it is set for 2020, Ottilie warns that we will have to wait to see it and, if the episodic format cannot be used, we must wait longer. Now, this change can help make the game more appealing in its release, knowing it's perfect and that there is no need to wait for new episodes. We'll wait for new information from Capital Games, as well The Wolf Among Us 2.
