Developer Hilltop Studios and Versus Evil have released the second part of the developer diary series “LOL Guardsman,” which focuses on the humor of the narrative deduction adventure Lil’ Guardsman. The game will be released next year on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC.
In Part 2, Scott Christian, Founder and Narrative Director, Matt Bernard, Writer and Game Designer, and Jeremy Lapalme, Writer, talk about how they share the narrative process but maintain a consistent voice throughout the game.
The team also talks about their approach to writing, testing and rewriting, as well as the art of developing strong punchlines.
