The horror returns: Dreadout 3 announced! Linda Meillinda again faces the spirits in 2026.
The dark horror trip continues: Dreadout 3 was officially announced and promises to take the players into the eerie world of Linda Meillinda again.
After the first two parts frightened the fans, the next nightmare is now imminent. The developers of Digital Happiness continue the story in which Linda immerses in an intermensional world as “keeper of the Dark” in order to find the source of a dark, invisible power that threatens the balance between light and darkness.
In Dreadout 3, the series is further deepened and expanded, whereby the focus is on an even more creepy atmosphere. The game leads the players through a Southeast Asian inspired environment that is peppered with supernatural beings, demons and gruesome horrors. Linda has to exceed the border between the world of living and the dead, while she with her loyal Iris Phone Ghosts and Dark Creatures.
As in the predecessors, the game will come up with a mixture of survival horror and photo mechanics, which enable players to reveal the terrifying beings through their camera. The developers promise to continue to pull ritualistic circles in Dreadout 3 and to hide ghosts in the shade in order to perfectly bring out the atmosphere of the series.

Dreadout 3 is expected to appear in 2026 and will be available for both PC and consoles. Soft source will accompany the game as a co-publisher.
