In Halo Infinite multiplayer, lost XP boosts from recent outages will not be refunded.
Gamers have rightly criticized Halo Infinite’s sluggish multiplayer progression. Since the launch, however, there have already been improvements to speed up leveling up in the Battle Passes.
The XP boosters are also an important help for faster progress. These are activated in the game and give more experience points for a certain period of time.
However, the XP boosters expire in real time and not in actual time spent in-game. An annoyance that Call of Duty players are also aware of for a long time.
Then, when there are server outages and disruptions, as has been the case with Halo Infinite over the past few days, activated boosters just keep running.
However, the developer does not seem to want to compensate for the loss of XP boosters. At least that’s what the response from Halo support to the incident suggests.
The answer states that you cannot return boosters that you lost due to dropouts.
The community is not taking the answer well, which is clearly felt in over 4000 upvotes and over 550 comments on Reddit.
Submitted substantial evidence of complete loss of Double XP during server outage a few days ago. Nice to know they don’t care. from gloriole
