The main quest by The Blood of Dawnwalker runs over 30 in-game days and nights, which should enhance the urgency of the main missions.
In the Blood of Dawnwalker from Rebel Wolves, the main quest plays over 30 in-game days and nights. However, the time only progresses through the conclusion of quests; Free exploring the world does not affect the course of time.
Players are clearly informed in the game which activities are driving time and how much. Even after the 30 days and nights, this does not necessarily lead to an end to the game, whereby further details should follow.
Tomaszkiewicz: “If you come together, something really unique is created – this feeling of urgency in the games can be upgraded. For example, if you play The Witcher 3 and know that Ciri needs help, but you decide to play gwent […]Do you feel that it's a game and it's a really good game. But it's a game. “
“And if you might have a resource and know that maybe something will happen when you don't go – then you would think differently about this game, and maybe the immersion would be better, and maybe your feelings would be different.”
Sadowski: “We want the time system to be part of the narrative experience and have part of the whole 'both action and non-acting consequences' approaches.”
“It will work in an interesting way. It will definitely force you to make decisions at some points, e.g. what you do and what you should ignore, because you will also have to choose which content you do and which you want to ignore your chances of maximizing the main enemy defeat.”
“But you will be able to choose between different ways to tackle the problem, and all of this is connected to the narrative sandpit again.”
