Bungie has a first look at the MarathonHis upcoming sci-fi extraction shooter and some brand new details about the game. In today's shop window, the studio on the gameplay and a stylish cinematic short form over the Marathon Universe.

Become a runner
In MarathonThey are a runner, a mercenary who exchanged their human form for a variety of improved cybernetic skills. Each playable runner has a load of unique skills to add to play – regardless of whether you want to run in weapons or follow a more tactical approach. At the beginning of the game, you can also adapt your runner with implants and weapons and with resources that you can find during the runs.
In teams of up to three players, they will fall into a zone in which the goal is to loot and get out alive as much as possible. You will compete with several threats, including AI security forces and other teams, with which you have to deal in any way. If you survive, you can get everything you have collected for future runs. For additional challengers, there is also an option to carry out a match solo, remove teams alone and extract with the whole prey yourself.

The studio also shared a cinematic short film that gave us a deeper look at the Cutthroat world of Tau Ceti IV, in which the marathon is staged by the award -winning director Alberto Mielgo (“Love, Death & Robots”, “The Witness” episode).
