The community is that pillar that can accomplish great things when it gets started. One of the things that makes the difference between PC and consoles are, without a doubt, mods. Thanks to them, we saw completely broken games being functional and improved, alternate stories, additional content for abandoned games and a huge etcetera that would make this news last too long.
Bethesda has generally been one of the most open companies to using mods, although there are other studios that have made it easier for community creators as well. Today we add another new study, 4A Games
4A Games releases the Exodus SDK
However, the part we’re basing this note on is about releasing your Exodus SDK, it’s basically getting full access to the game’s full graphics engine. It’s important to point this out because it’s not just limited to ability to create mods to use, it’s about having the full graphics engine with all that that entails.
Some of the major features included in this Exodus SKD are scene editor, model editor, particle effects, navigation tools, terrain tools, a weather editor, camera tools for creating scenes
It’s not just mod support – we give you our full editor as it was the day we launched Metro Exodus, with the ability to create standalone content running from a base executable .
How to download the Exodus SDK?
