Microsoft has canceled E3 2023 and announced that it will be represented digitally, but not at the fair.
Microsoft has officially confirmed in a conversation with IGN that the company will not be present at E3 2023. An Xbox spokesperson explained that while the company will co-stream its Xbox Games Showcase on June 11 as part of E3 2023, it will not be present at the Los Angeles show.
After Nintendo, Microsoft is the second major manufacturer that will not be represented at the E3 2023 exhibition center in Los Angeles. Sony was no longer interested in the E3 in the years before and saved a cancellation for the year 2023.
So far it is only known that Ubisoft wants to participate with a large contingent at E3 2023. The digital Xbox Games Showcase will take place on June 11th.
