If you walked in here not having a clue what’s going on, I’ll give you some background information. A few days ago the Xbox networks began to fill with dissatisfied users because for some strange reason that we do not know today, the system that manages Microsoft Rewards accounts started banning users without any criteria.
The customer loyalty department responded with a message from Daniel Martins, who is currently the division’s Xbox loyalty marketing manager. He assured that they were working to fix the issues and a day later the “bleeding” of banned users stopped.
Microsoft Rewards is working properly again
However, an additional problem remained, users who were previously banned were still banned. So there was once again a complicated job of identifying them and reset your accounts without losing a single point obtained.
Fortunately today we know that they already implement the solution, three hours have passed since I started writing these lines, and the message from Martins is the following:
Update: Yesterday, our team began working to reactivate accounts that were suspended in error. Check if your account has already been restored; if not, give it a few hours and check again. Unfortunately, no email followed the reactivation. More communications to come.

So verify your account and don’t wait for any emails or messages from Xbox. As we have more information on the matter, we will tell you.
