It seems that things are taking shape! Earlier this week we learned that Microsoft, along with other gamers, was in the running to acquire Discord for $ 10 billion. Today Tom Warren, reporter for The Verge, reports to the Wall Street Journal on the matter. And the latter says that the Redmond company is now alone on the file.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Microsoft is in “exclusive talks” to acquire Discord. A deal could be closed next month https://t.co/OUmOsWQtMU pic.twitter.com/n0wRqEsfNx

According to the famous New York media, Microsoft would discuss the acquisition exclusively. However, this does not mean that the two parties will necessarily reach an agreement. Without citing the sources, the Wall Street Journal states that a deal could close in the coming month if the exchange is obviously going in the right direction. Things are picking up speed so we may be adjusted much sooner than expected.
