Microsoft no longer develops games for Xbox One

Develops, Games, longer, Microsoft, Xbox

Ladies and gentlemen, a page has turned. Matt Booty announced this in an on-site interview axiosthat the Redmond company no longer develops titles for Xbox One.

We’re definitely moving to the ninth generation of consoles. No in-house developers are working on these consoles anymore, apart from supporting titles like Minecraft. It was to be expected, but this transition occurs later in the cycle than usual. However, thanks to our cloud technology, games from the ninth generation are also playable on the eighth.

This handover was obviously expected. And the games shown in the Xbox Showcase could indicate it. We have clearly closed a technical gap to really move to the new generation!
