Although much of the cover is taken by Microsoft’s purchase of Activision Blizzard King, the truth is that those in Redmond continue their momentum by investing in IPs, games, events and improve your existing software. While gaming enthusiasts are in luck at this point, the American brand continues to look forward to the margin of this gigantic acquisition.
The next event in which Microsoft will give us information about one of the first parts is the one dedicated to Starfield, the next one will be the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 which, by the way, will skip E3 2023 and it will be the first time that the Americans are in no way present at the fair, not even a witness.
Ender Dragon would be a new Xbox game
But back to the subject of new IPs, the division headed by Phil Spencer has a new patent, it is Ender Dragon. This name refers to a dragon that appears in the Minecraft universe. The company patented the brand with a new application, and also used various nomenclatures to monetize it. For example, it is cataloged in the sale of figurines and merchandising, typography and also obviously gaming. Listing started on March 3, 2023 and ended on March 7, 2023.
This brand may be the next venture into the Minecraft universe as a standalone game. We’ve already seen Mojang try new things with Minecraft Dungeons and future Minecraft Legends.
Now we just have to wait and see what Xbox can offer with this new brand, although I warn you not to hope until you see an announcement, sometimes companies only protect their property intellectual and do not use it.
