If you thought you already knew all about the games Microsoft has in the oven … You’d be wrong. Americans still have quite a few titles in development that we haven’t even heard of. Because so many studies go to great lengths, and in fact, there are also third party agreements in the back room. So to think that “all the fish is sold” is a mistake of epic dimensions.
Some industry insiders close to Xbox Game Studios have leaked secret news and plans. Some examples are Project Belfry, Project Sholin or Project Dragoon among others. But as I said, there is more and surely before the end of the year we will know more.
Lumu, the mysterious game for Xbox
Thanks to the Aggiornamenti Lumia account, which basically tracks hidden files in the Microsoft store, we know of the existence of Lumu, a game that Microsoft itself downloaded and that we don’t know anything about at the moment.
It is files of one game to be reviewed and others to be previewed by the press. It may even be a sort of demo to show to the media before it is announced; I would rule out that these files refer to an already announced running game since they usually have either the original codename or the final game name.
Microsoft has just released two new private Xbox games:
– Lumu press preview
– Lumia press review– Lumia updates (@ALumia_Italia) 28 October 2021
Unless there is a transcription error, in the presentation of Amy Hood’s results to shareholders, there are three games that will be launched before the end of this new fiscal quarter. I insist, it could be a transcription error, but it could also be this Lumu Project.
Either way, the Game Awards are not far off, and Microsoft has been comfortable awarding exclusive announcements at the event for some time.
