Recently, Microsoft updated the Windows Health Dashboard, a space to inform users of possible problems with the Windows environment. Recently, those in Redmond have added a new notification related to error 0x800f0922 caused by one of the latest security updatesespecially with the version Secure Boot DBX (KB5012170).
This bug affects Windows Update in versions for Windows 8, Windows 10, and Windows 11. Fortunately, it only affects this part of Secure Boot, the rest of the updates such as Monthly Rollups and feature changes released on 9 August 2022 apply without problem.

The American company has already warned that it is working to solve the problem, although there is no date for the solution at the moment. However, it is possible ignore error if updating UEFI to the latest version available before installing KB5012170. So it’s time to arm yourself with patience for now, although it shouldn’t mean a problem in your day-to-day life, it’s always good to have Windows updated.
This isn’t the only issue the Americans are working on, they’re also actively trying to fix a bug that affects Windows 10 and Windows 11 where the OS “chokes” when opening XPS files and exhausts RAM, locking the device and forcing a reset.
