Microsoft has already warned that they have been working to ensure that no subsequent launch is in their hands delayed by a health crisis the world is experiencing as a result of COVID-19.
Mojang had explained a few days ago that they would try to honor the release date of Minecraft Dungeons by the end of April as planned, but its release would be delayed until next May.
Minecraft Dungeons is coming to the Xbox on May 26
Here we leave the details of the official press release explaining how this launch will eventually be done:
- As you know, we originally planned to launch Minecraft Dungeons by the end of April. However, given the current state of the world, this plan was no longer feasible, as we wanted to ensure the health and safety of our teams and give them the opportunity to give a much better sense of community.
- Price? Extra? FUNDS? Yes, yes, yes, yes! We will release two versions of the game: Minecraft Dungeons – Standard Edition for € 19.99 and Minecraft Dungeons – Hero Edition for € 29.99. The Hero program contains a Hero Pass, which includes a hero cape, two player skins, a chicken pet, and two packs of DLC.
- More players and crazy play? At launch you can play online with friends on the same platform. We are working to offer more platform players in the future with a free update.
