Mist Hunter takes place in a world in ruins in the aftermath of Ragnarök, in the aftermath of an epic war between the High Gods and the Outer Gods. Nearly all the deities have perished, their blood transformed into Corrupting Gyldenmist, a mist that spreads across the land and distorts souls, driving the world’s remaining beings to madness and mutation.
Under the omnipresent Gyldenmist, only a few humans retained their sanity, clinging to survival in the few remaining shelters, keeping the faint flame of civilization alive. Meanwhile, a mysterious young girl channels supernatural power and searches for dead heroes to whom she grants immortal flesh to fight the ravaged creatures. These resurrected heroes, known as the Gylden Hunters, venture into the ruins to hunt down and collect the corroded Gyldenblod, bringing hope to their world on the brink of ruin.
Hunt or be hunted
As Gylden Hunter, you will venture into the mist alone or in a team with up to two companions. In the merciless fog, there are no heroes, only fights to the death. Here you’ll find the precious Gyldenblod and endless loot, but you must eliminate all obstacles that stand in your way, from the terrifying Corroded Ones to legendary fallen heroes and even epic demigods.
If you’re not ready to take on the powerful Mist Bosses, there’s a quicker way to increase your fortune: hunt and pillage other Gylden Hunters who return with their loot. Every battle requires you to risk everything. If you die, you lose everything. Only if you can fight your way through and extract it can you return to the warm camp, loaded with rewards and one step closer to reclaiming your life.
Different fighting styles
Immerse yourself in fluid third-person gameplay and fast-paced combat. Choose from classes such as Mercenary, Sorcerer, Blackarrow and Shadowstrix, each with unique abilities. Use both magic and steel to customize your fighting style, selecting and changing weapons during battles to adapt to different enemies. You can even team up with your friends to pull off incredible combos and ensure victory over all those who challenge your greatness.
