In Mokoko X, We want to revive the specific arcade genre while adding a modern twist. The gameplay is simple: conquer the larger part of the game screen by drawing lines. The graphical style of our game is a combination of retro arcade/anime. We made it as colorful and lively as possible. In each level you fight absurd bosses that annoy our eight girls. All bosses and girls have their own short stories and connections to each other.
Speaking of stories, I have all written short stories, drawing inspiration from the imagination of my elementary school days. Therefore, you will probably find them quite absurd and childish from time to time. I want to give some short story examples from which you will learn the answers to the following questions:
- How do you stop a heartless but not soulless Emperor?
- Can someone be a gyroscope and a watchdog at the same time?
- Can ducks organize a pyramid scheme?
- Are there really demonic headphones in the world?
- Why do lizard people need a plastic toy to summon their god?
- How do you become a villain after a revolt against the ant queen?
- What do scientists want from Albert, the wonderful sea creature?
The main reason you fight these bosses is mainly to help our female characters. All bosses also have their special minion gang. All characters in the game are fully animated and voiced in both English and Japanese.
There is also a main story of Mokoko which is unlocked piece by piece after completing each lady/chapter. But I don’t want to spoiler here.
We’ve also made sure the leaderboards are very active and fuel the competition for the best results. People say the game is a bit hard, but so was the arcade age! But we are not merciless, there is an easy setting. After completing story mode with 32 levels, arcade mode will be unlocked in which you have to finish all levels one by one with a limited number of lives. We have a special leaderboard for this level. This is the place where the best players can show off their skills.
Finally, I love this old genre and we’re confident that we’ve done our best to be a worthy successor. I hope you feel the same way. Good luck and have fun!

About Mokoko X was inspired by the arcade games of the 1980s and 1990s, a popular gaming style at the time. Mokoko X wants to revive the soul of the arcade genre while adding a modern twist. There are 32 levels in Mokoko X; Each level has its own unique boss and minions. The main goal is to help the unlucky girls who need help from the strange bosses. This is sometimes completing a mobile game level, sometimes helping out with the insects in the kitchen. Gameplay The main goal is to conquer the bigger part of the screen. While in your own area, you are safe from the enemies until your shield empties. You conquer new territories by retreating from your territory. However, drawing disables your shield and exposes you to danger. Your shield keeps declining. If you don’t conquer on a certain frequency, your shield will burn out and you won’t be safe in your own areas either. There are 3 difficulties in the game. Difficulty affects enemies, your shield, and the percentage of area captured required to win. Stories Have you ever asked yourself these questions: How do you stop a heartless but not soulless Emperor? Can someone be a gyroscope and a watchdog at the same time? Why are these ducks attacking us? Are there really demonic headphones in the world? Why do lizard people need a plastic toy to summon their god? Here are some missions! – Help Irish people with their arachnophobia and fight with the imaginary spider Mr.Fyodorov. – Protect Issa’s house from being ransacked by the ghost pirates stuck in the anchors. They weren’t the bane of Seven Seas – the crew were killed in their first naval battle. – Toru wanted to be a mosquito to annoy people. A local witch heard him and turned him into a mosquito. Now he causes trouble to people every night. Fight the strange enemies… …and learn more about their absurd stories!
