Moon Studios is a relatively young development team. Founded in 2010, the studio rose to prominence in 2015 with its debut game, Ori and the Blind Forest, which arrived on Xbox One and PC, then Nintendo Switch. This same path would be followed by its sequel, Ori and Will of the Whisp, released in 2020.
The studio has since embarked on its new ARPG, an ambitious title which, according to its director, it could rival Diablo or Path of Exile.
Moon Studios’ new ARPG will mark its future
Thomas Mahler, director of Moon Studios, is a regular on Twitter, a platform where he usually comments on various aspects of the studio’s projects and the development team itself. For example, he commented a while ago that he and his team were able to improve the design of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or Eleden Ring. And in this line it’s gone your last comment about his new game, an ARPG that he believes could revolutionize the genre.
It works well, because the other side of the coin, According to him, it could be the slow demise of the study. Those might be a little dramatic words, but they definitely speak to Moon Studios’ ambition with their new game.
Our next project will be decisive for Moon: either we manage to revolutionize the ARPG genre, or we slowly fade into the distance. Although it should be scary, I LOVE the challenge! Diablo, PoE, etc : we come to get you, may the best win!

We still don’t know anything about this project, other than that it’s an ARPG. We don’t have a trailer, release date or confirmed platforms. But with the declarations of Thomas Mahler, the hype is at its peak.
