NBA 2K23 celebrates the intersection of music and basketball cultures with a new ‘MyCAREER’ story and J. Cole on the cover of the DREAMER Edition.
2K announced details of the all-new NBA 2K23 MyCAREER experience, boasting the richest and deepest story in the franchise’s history.
Set after the NBA Draft, the story challenges players not only to excel through their performances in the NBA, but also to further their careers off the court with music, fashion and business acumen.
Alongside high-profile characters and cameos, MyCAREER also features Dreamville artists Elite and Bas to help players befriend J. Cole and win hearts in The City.
J. Cole has been revealed as the cover star for NBA 2K23 DREAMER Edition, coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S this fall. Available exclusively through GameStop in the US and Canada, the NBA 2K23 DREAMER Edition brings a musician to the cover of a sports simulation video game for the first time.
Former basketball pro J. Cole adds to his already impressive list of musical achievements, including Grammy Awards and multiple platinum awards. Full details are available on the NBA 2K23 official website.

The NBA 2K23 soundtrack will feature a mix of songs by internationally renowned artists upon release, including Jackson Wang’s “TITANIC (feat. The soundtrack expands with three new tracks every Friday and continues to add new content throughout the seasons with a variety of artist and record label partnerships.
