As we approach two months since Meltdown: Razorpoint‘s Explosive launch on Xbox, an all-new cooperative campaign mode called Showdown will be coming to the game on August 5th and will be available to all players on Xbox Series X|S, Windows 10/11 PC and with Game Pass as a free update.

Based on the exciting combat from the popular Battle Royale mode, players can take on the challenge in teams of three (Trios) in this new mode. In two phases, players will face a variety of challenges of varying difficulty while wild enemies surround and attack them. As the difficulty increases, trios must communicate and work together to survive and emerge victorious.

At launch, teams have four heroes to choose from: Kurumi, Tarka, Valda, and Viper. Each will be equipped with their own unique melee and ranged weapon set, encouraging players to use a variety of abilities to battle hordes of enemies across the map.

The showdown culminates in a truly epic boss fight pitting teams against Omni, an formidable and challenging boss; one that has orchestrated all of the evil deeds and mayhem that has befallen players up to this point.

Progression is an integral part of Showdown, with players rewarded for each achievement as they progress through the new game mode. Each character can be upgraded and given new gear, with the added ability to unlock even more new abilities. As each hero builds their strength and abilities, teams can progress toward tackling higher difficulties—and earn far more powerful rewards in the process.

Hell: Blade Tip has always represented a bold new step in the battle royale genre. Additions such as show down build on this innovation; It offers players entirely new experiences as well as novel and rewarding ways to develop their hand-to-hand combat and hand-to-hand combat skills within the game.
