The Fable 4 narrative leader will be stepping down from the project in August.
A trailer for Fable 4 was finally released at E3, but since then the project has again become quite quiet. Well there Anna McGillNarrative Lead for the project, announced that she will be stepping down in August.
“I’ve spent some wonderful years writing in my fairytale cottage, but the time has come for new challenges,” wrote Anna Megill to explain her motivation.
Before joining Playground Games in 2021, Anna worked on titles such as Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, The Division 2 and Control. What effects the loss will have on the reboot of the fantasy series is currently not foreseeable.
Fable 4 is currently in development for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
