Since Resident Evil 7 and the start of Capcom's use of the RE Engine, the company has followed an interesting policy of renewing its franchise almost every year. The main thing was to alternate the titles, because behind Resident Evil 7 came… Resident Evil 2, or rather its remake, which revolutionized everyone and is currently among the franchise's favorites.
After that came Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 4 Remake, so it was obvious that Capcom would continue on this path, interesting both for the fans and for themselves.
