Avowed is one of the projects that Microsoft currently has underway. Developed by Obsidian, the game takes place in the same universe as Pillars of Eternity. More specifically, it was in the LinkedIn Profile of an Obsidian Developer, where some of the characteristics that we will find in the game are indicated. So, the developer talks about the presence of combat encounters in the open world of the game, In addition to the possibility of changing and strengthening our team. Equipment that we will obtain by collecting it while exploring the different levels of the game, as well as its universe.
Avowed will also feature interesting narrative elements developed with Unreal Engine 5 and with some obsidian-specific tools with which they add different structures and elements that players will be able to examine and which will add greater narrative load.

Avowed will release on Xbox Series X|S and PC, being available on Xbox Game Pass at launch, on a date to be determined.
