IO Interactive revived the Hitman franchise in 2016, bringing Agent 47 back to fame in three installments that became fan favorites, with a few transient hiccups. The third installment of Hitman starts now for its second year support that brings a lot of new things to the production, including a new mode and the ability to enjoy virtual reality throughout the trilogy.
In the case of Hitman 3, this second year comes in the form of a patch, bringing the title to version 3,100, so players will have to download the update for the Xbox and PC versions, where we recall that it is available via Xbox Game Pass from the 20th.

The most important novelty of the update is the addition of the mode Elusive ShieldThis takes the mechanics of the mode to another level with rewards for unlocking an incredible number of new challenges. Unlike previous games, these targets are permanently available to hunt in Arcade Mode, even if the player succeeds or fails a mission.
The patch also resolves some inconveniences that affected players in previous versions with stability issues in connecting to online play, for example. Going forward, the PC (Windows and non-Epic) and Xbox versions will also continue to progress with each other so players can pick up where they left off.
