New details about Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 have landed at FlightSimExpo.
At the weekend in Houston, FlightSimExpo invited pilots and fans of simulators to talk about their favorite hobby.
Microsoft was also there and gave more details about Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, which was only announced a few weeks ago.
Among other things, Jörg Neumann from Asobo Studios and his team talked about the fact that players can choose a lifestyle. However, you will not complete any missions, but, as befits a simulation, carry out activities in the air.
The developer said, according to ResetEra: “We’re not a game, so we don’t do gameplay missions at all, we do these exact aviation activities. We work with many organizations involved in firefighting, search and rescue.”
The game client, on the other hand, has been slimmed down. You should only download and save what you need. This is intended to reduce installation and loading times.
A new physics and aerodynamics engine will give aircraft developers even more control. It also promises massive performance improvements.
Many systems are also getting upgrades. These include electrical, pneumatic, fuel and hydraulic systems.
Pilots can find even more details about the innovations in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 in the panel recording.
