The wait is over for fans of sci-fi role-playing games. Archetype Entertainment has released a gameplay trailer for its new AAA title, Exodus, which promises to be an epic experience in the sci-fi universe. The trailer, titled “The Traveler's Belief,” shows us scenes from the story.some of the places we'll visit, awesome scenery, and of course, explosions galore.
What's striking is the game's seemingly generous budget, as a trailer featuring Matthew McConaughey was even released. In part of the trailer, we can see a giant bear in space armor, which makes us wonder what other surprises the game has in store for us. The protagonist will also be able to use a grappling hook to move more quickly through the environment.
Exodus looks more and more like Mass Effect
It's inevitable to compare Exodus with Mass Effect, since part of the Exodus development team is made up of veterans who worked on the BioWare franchise. And judging by this first trailer, Shepard fans are going to be very happy with Exodus. The synopsis of the game tells us: “Join the Travelers, who sacrifice their lives to travel the Centauri universe on a dangerous mission to save an isolated awakened civilization from slavery to the Celestials. Our service – our sacrifice – discovers worlds, sows hope, shatters empires“.

Although no release date has been announced yet, the gameplay trailer gives us an idea of what we can expect from Exodus. With its blend of action, exploration and drama, this game promises to be a memorable experience for fans of science fiction and role-playing games.
