Hello! I’m Sos Sosowski, the creator and solo developer behind this McPixel 3. I’m happy to announce that this March you can enjoy all the new adventures of the titular hero on Xbox! But first let me tell you more about the game because there is a lot to do there!
Is this the way to save the day?
McPixel is no ordinary superhero. While trying to save his own skin in highly unpredictable ways, most of his adventures end in utterly hilarious failures. You control the title character and explore over 100 tiny levels to find the right solution using and combining everything you can find. Each solution has a result, but there is only one good answer so you never get bored!
Each of the levels has a time limit before the disaster happens, and the levels are arranged in rounds that you progress through until you complete them all, so you never get bored of being stuck in a single place. In these rounds, you’ll travel the world, travel back in time, appear on TV shows, get shrunk to the size of a pebble, and more!
The stunning genre-bending!
Every now and then you will come across a mini-game during your adventures. The mini-games are simple and require not only solving puzzles but also a bit of dexterity. They can be found in the strangest of places and come in a whole range of genres! We have Shoot ’em Ups, Beat ’em Ups, Driving, FPS, Platformers, On-Rails, QTEs and more! All in full retro-style software-rendered glory!
Welcome to McBurg!
The game takes place in the town of McBurg, which you explore to find new adventures. Finding different outcomes in adventures gives you coins, which you can then use to unlock even more levels! In addition, there are many little gags and secrets hidden throughout the town, including the ability to transform into various costumes that you may have come across while saving the day!
Steeeve!
During your adventures you often meet Steve who can be found in the strangest places and asks you to join him on a short adventure. However, Steve isn’t like McPixel and doesn’t save the day. He’s just a regular guy who will do things like fishing, cooking, painting, or summoning demons.
McPixel visits grandma!
In a brand new update, McPixel receives a letter from Grandma inviting him to visit! Join McPixel on his visit to Grandma and make sure she actually survives the unfortunate encounters McPixel puts her through in a new never-before-seen level pack!
There are also two new minigames and a brand new Steve level waiting for you in this level pack!
The classic remastered Additionally, you’ll be able to play the original six levels for which it was first made McPixel Remastered appropriately in 2011 McPixel 3‘s style and graphics!
