Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II & Warzone 2.0 starts next week with this content
Call of Duty developers have revealed the content for the next season for Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0, which will launch on June 14th on all platforms.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II
Season 4 includes seven new maps for Modern Warfare II multiplayer: Showdown, Kunstenaar District, Mercado, Penthouse, Mawizeh Marsh, and Ahkdar Village. The seventh and final map is called Vondel Waterfront. It’s a core map that won’t be added until mid-season.
For game modes, Search & Destroy and Prisoner Rescue are promised to expand to 12v12 for a limited time. So the playlists are twice as busy as usual.
A new RAID episode for Special Ops is also included. She is expected in mid-season. The full Episode 04 also unlocks a new skin for Farah.
Players still have the opportunity to climb up and be among the top divisions in the new ranked season. Cool ranking rewards await.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0
The Battle Royale mode Warzone 2.0 will get a new map with Season 4. Vondel is a medium-sized map that can be played on Resurgence, DMZ, and the Lockdown LTM, among others. There was already a leak on the card in May.
The Warzone will be expanded with new features. These include a Tactical Amphibious Vehicle (TAV), the Supply Crates making their return, Dynamic Fog, a new field upgrade and more.
For the main map Al Mazrah, the developer announces some slight topographical changes at the start of the season.
Meanwhile, ranked matches will be reset for the first full series in Season 4. Rewards are back to claim in Ranked Season.
Many more details about Season 4, including additional features and descriptions of the maps, are on callofduty.com to find.
