Hajme Tabata plans to unveil a new RPG with his Studo JP Games in 2022.
Hajme Tabata, the former head of the team behind Final Fantasy XV, has been working on new role-playing games with his new studio JP Games for three years.
As we already know from an interview from July this year, there are two games in production: an experimental and fast RPG that is seen as the evolution of Final Fantasy Type-0 and an AAA RPG that is similar to Final Fantasy XV can roam.
Tabata is expected to reveal one of these two games in the coming year, as he said in an interview with 4gamer.net. In the new year, h is goal is also to expand the studio’s business in the games and metaverse sectors.
