EA Sports NHL 25 announces that the arcade mode will be introduced exclusively in World of Chel. The new NHL Frenzy event brings the stadiums to life with exceptional obstacles.
NHL Frenzy contains all power-ups from Arcade and Arcade+ and adds new stadium events where the teams UFOS deal with special rays and have to use them for their advantage.
More details about the event:
- Kidnapping beam: A UFO shoots a tractor beam on the ice from above and all players who get into the beam are pulled out.
- Laser attack: The UFO sends out laser rays that break the ice and leave fire traces that put all players out of action for a certain time.
- The bonus rewards include 100 Mars-Pucks, 2x player EP and 2x Battle Pass-EP
NHL Arcade is a temporary 3-against-3-WOC event that brings Big Heads back in a modernized version of the fast-paced arcade classic. The teams are fighting to score five goals without glass, rules or interruptions. All players have the same OVR value and the same size/weight, so that power-ups and obstacles make up the essential difference. Fans can get together with friends or get into the game as a solo or goalie of their team.
