There will be no Final Fantasy VII Remake announced for Xbox during the Tokyo Game Show 2024, according to the latest rumors.
Jez Corden of WindowsCentral said on the Xbox Two Podcast that Xbox fans should not expect a Final Fantasy VII Remake at the Tokyo Game Show 2024. So far, it seems that the full game might only be announced as a Complete Edition for Xbox once Square Enix has completed the collection for PlayStation.
“Don’t expect Final Fantasy 7 for Xbox at the Tokyo Game Show next week,” said Jez.
Final Fantasy fans can still keep their fingers crossed and look forward to titles like Final Fantasy XVI or the Pixel Remaster Collection. The date for the Xbox Show in Japan has already been set, but which games will be revealed remains a secret.
