- It will be possible to choose your own house between Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin.
- Hogwarts legacy is a complete single player experience, with no online play
- It will be possible to explore the entire Hogwarts castle
- As can be seen in the trailer, it will be possible to tame and ride magical creatures
- The game does not offer microtransactions
We also learn that players will be able to take flight lessons, while broom races take place! However, the studio does not mention the magicians’ favorite sport: Quidditch. More details are also given about the progression system: completing challenges gives experience to develop our character’s skills. Equipment can also be upgraded and specialized to increase attack or defense according to our alignment.
A mandatory login? Nothing certain so far
No mandatory connection to play is mentioned in this FAQ Hogwarts legacy. However, on a cover of the game available in the American version from Amazon, Xbox One and Xbox Series X boxes indicate the need for an internet connection. This information cannot be found on the PS5 cover or in other stores. This mention is therefore not to be taken at face value as the studio has not communicated one way or the other at any point. To date, nothing confirms or denies the need for an internet connection to play Hogwarts Legacy.
