The Brawl Stars community is still waiting for the nerf to Lily, one of the most controversial brawlers in the game. While there has been talk in the past about needing to make changes to their Vanishing gadget, it appears that the Libra team has changed its mind. Instead of applying a nerf, They study Lily's situation all out due to their declining popularity and win rate.
Lily's disappearing gadget is one of the most powerful in the game, as it allows her to disappear and flee to a safe area without anyone seeing her. This also allows her to sneak in and directly counter other brawlers, making her a very versatile brawler. However, Its usage and win rate have decreased significantly in competitive and general gameplay.
Lily doesn't touch herself…yet
Adrian Haggqvist, head of balance and gameplay for Brawl Stars, confirmed that the team is looking into Lily's situation and that now is not the right time to apply an overhaul to her gadget. According to Haggqvist, the low win rate and use of Lily forces the team to find the right balance before making changes. If the new gadget wasn't up to par, players could choose to still use the Transplant gadget, which would turn Lily into a new version of Buzz or Fang.
The decision to postpone Lily's gadget redesign sparked community debate from Brawl Stars. Some players think that the Vanishing gadget is too powerful and that it needs to be nerfed, while others believe that Lily's low win rate and usage is a deeper problem that requires a more complex solution. Either way, it looks like players will have to wait a little longer to see what changes apply to Lily.
I've postponed it for now because her win rates have dropped – so we need to find a suitable set of changes for her if we want to rework the gimmick.

It is important to remember that balance in Brawl Stars is a constant process and that the balance team is always working to ensure that the game is as fair and balanced as possible. While the decision to postpone Lily's gadget overhaul may be disappointing for some players, it's likely that the balance team is working on longer-term solutions to improve the overall gaming experience.
As for what to expect in the future, it's hard to say. Brawl Stars Balancing Team is known for its ability to surprise players with unexpected changes and balance adjustments. It's possible that stat buffs will be applied to Lily to compensate for the loss of power from her gadget, or that new changes will be introduced that will affect other brawlers in the game. Regardless, the Brawl Stars community will continue to Looking forward to seeing what changes will be implemented in the future.
