Rocksteady was working on a multiplayer game ahead of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, according to a report.
After the release of Batman Arkham Knight in 2015, Rocksteady worked on an unknown multiplayer game alongside Batman: Arkham VR. This comes from a report by Bloomberg.
According to sources who want to know the studio’s plans for the last ten years, this multiplayer game is said to have been based on an original IP.
Warner Bros. Montreal, known for Batman: Arkham Origins and Gotham Knights, reportedly stopped work on a Suicide Squad game at the end of 2016. It was later offered to Rocksteady, who developed Kill the Justice League from it.
According to the report, Rocksteady was never offered to develop a Superman game, let alone worked on one.
