Currently, Microsoft has not officially announced any additional games for Xbox Game Pass, with Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders landing in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on January 21, 2025.
Microsoft could make further game announcements for the subscription on January 23, 2025 at the Xbox Developer Direct Showcase, because there has been speculation here for days that Microsoft has planned several surprises for the show that have nothing to do with the four main candidates.
There were no such surprise releases during the Xbox Developer Direct in January 2024. Back then, Xbox had even confirmed in advance that it had no plans for a shadow drop during the event. Such an announcement is still pending for the 2025 show.
