Overwatch 2 will be free for everyone starting October 4th

Attention Overwatch heroes! surveillance 2 Coming to Xbox for free on October 4th. Gather your friends and team up in 5v5 gameplay. surveillance 2 will be an ever-evolving experience full of new content introduced from season to season. There’s something new to play every day with frequent updates and daily challenges.

Here’s a taste of what we’ll have in store for October:

• October 4th – Season 1: Season 1 begins with three new heroes, Sojourn, Junker Queen and one new support hero, to be announced! There will also be six new maps set in some of the world’s most iconic locations: Toronto, New York, Rome, Monte Carlo, Portugal and Rio. In addition, players can experience the new “Push” mode, fight for control and push a map-centric robot all the way to the enemy base. Players can also enjoy over 30 hero customization skins and a new Mythic skin!

• December 9th – Season 2: Season 2 continues to release an epic amount of content including a new tank hero, a new map to battle, over 30 new skins and more. The Season 2 Battle Pass will also include a wealth of items to earn and use on the battlefield.

From 2023, players can expect even more heroes, maps, modes, hundreds of new skins and the long-awaited PVE begins!

Seasons of new content

surveillance 2 will be a live game, introducing new maps, features and modes every 9 weeks on a seasonal basis. Then in 2023 we will expand the world of Overwatch and our heroes with new narrative experiences and PvE gameplay.

The new Battle Pass model provides access to themed cosmetic items and daily challenges that you can complete for in-game rewards. You can choose what content to invest in and the direction in which to progress rather than relying on the luck of the Loot Box.

And with new cross-progression, you can take what you earn to any device you’re actively playing on.

Level up with new Mythic skins and other never-before-seen cosmetics

surveillance 2 will introduce a new tier of skins called Mythic. These skins allow players to customize various elements of their hero’s appearance.

We’ll also be introducing a plethora of new cosmetic items, including souvenirs, banners, and weapon charms. And with new cross-progression, all your earned cosmetics travel with you wherever you play.

Competitive 2.0

surveillance 2 will offer players a reimagined competitive experience.

The scoreboard system has been overhauled to provide players with more detail during gameplay, as well as additional post-game reports to summarize your progress. And skill ratings wait until 7 wins to update, using ranked tiers instead of a numeric rating.

You don’t have to wait until October to experience it surveillance 2‘s newly interpreted gameplay. Sign up now to participate in the beta starting June 28th.

Those who participate in the beta will be among the first to bring the new hero, Junker Queen, onto the battlefield. You can also try the new hero Sojourn, try the push mode and fight worldwide with maps in New York, Rome, Monte Carlo and Rio.
