Xbox and company will look for another service for a third season.
We have the latest news on the Halo TV series: Paramount+ has announced that it is officially canceling the Halo TV series after two seasons.
Here’s the official statement (via The Hollywood Reporter):
“We are very proud of this ambitious series and would like to thank our partners Xbox, 343 Industries and Amblin Television, as well as showrunner and executive producer David Wiener, his fellow executive producers, the entire cast led by Pablo Schreiber as maestro and the incredible crew for all their great work. We wish everyone the best for the future.”
Although Paramount canceled it, it seems that the series is not over yet, as Amblin, Xbox and 343 Industries are looking for another way to secure a third season, Paramount+ is believed to be on board with the idea.
Paramount’s Halo series debuted in 2022 and has become one of Paramount’s most-watched streaming series.. This latest news regarding the Halo series comes after Paramount signed a multi-million dollar merger with Skydance Media following ongoing financial problems.
