Netease Games and Spotlight by Quantic Dream invite visitors to booth 18043 in Hall A, where there will be exclusive gameplay sessions, giveaways, photo ops with cosplayers and much more.
Today, Spotlight by Quantic Dream and NetEase announce their participation at PAX EAST 2024 with special updates on Dustborn, Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior, Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered and Rusty Rabbit.
Red Thread Games will invite visitors to the Spotlight by Quantic Dream booth to play an exclusive 30-minute demo of the game. For the first time since its announcement, the game will be directly playable.
Players who attend the event can take part in a special quest at the booth and win exclusive goodies. By picking up a Dustborn Pass upon arrival at the booth, they will have the chance to complete a series of activities and collect stamps that unlock exclusive items.
Additionally, Red will be hosting a Thread Games panel discussion titled “The Power of Words: A Conversation with the Voices of Dustborn” on March 21st at 2:00 pm EST at the Albatross Theater.
This panel will feature the talent behind Dustborn, including Jess Erion, author of Dustborn, and the game’s lead voice actors, Dominique Tipper (The Expanse, One Ranger) as Pax and Safiyya Ingar (The Witcher) as Sai. Moderated by Katy Bentz (Life is Strange), the panel will delve into the world of Dustborn and explore the team’s approach to authentic character creation and storytelling. This panel will be broadcast live on the PAX East Twitch channel, Twitch.tv/PAX.
LYSANGA: THE TIMESHIFT WARRIOR
A 20-minute demo of the Steam version of the game will be playable at the Spotlight by Quantic Dream booth.
This demo introduces players to the key mechanics and world of Lysfanga. It includes a 10-minute section from the rest of the game to give players the opportunity to test out some spells and runes and experience different play styles. The demo ends with a challenging boss fight.
SHADOWS OF THE DAMNED: HELLA REMASTERED
Grasshopper Manufacture invites fans to visit the booth and try out the first playable demo of the remastered version of their 2011 cult classic Shadows of the Damned!
The demo offers players a new look at the dark escapades of anti-hero Garcia Hotspur, who traverses the depths of hell and slays demons in search of his girlfriend Paula. Those who complete the demo will be rewarded with a special Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered coaster.
Additionally, Grasshopper Manufacture CEO Goichi “SUDA51” Suda will be making regular appearances at the booth throughout the show to chat with fans, play games and take photos. Stop by the booth to say hello and get a special pin featuring Garcia’s sidekick, Johnson!
RUSTY RABBIT
Visitors will have the first opportunity to try out this 2.5D action side-scroller, coming to PlayStation 5 and PC.
Developed in collaboration between NetEase Games and visual novel company NITRO PLUS, Rusty Rabbit features a deep story with lots of action, exploration and smash and dash gameplay action. Noted anime author Gen Urobuchi, who also developed the original concept and script for the game, gives players the opportunity to play the first levels of the game and learn more about the plot and unique game mechanics.
To promote Rusty Rabbit at the convention, a content creator wearing a branded bunny onesie with a carrot-shaped microphone will pepper attendees with random Billy on the Street-style questions. At the end of the interview, each participant will receive a premium rabbit hat and an individual invitation to our STAMP-EDE event on Saturday, March 23rd. at 3:30 p.m.
Following the “March of the Murlocs” tradition at Blizzcon, the STAMP-EDE event will encourage attendees to gather at the NetEase booth and march (or skip, as you prefer) through the convention together ). Signs will direct the way to the meeting point and keychains and stickers with the Rusty Rabbit logo will be distributed to the surrounding masses.
