In recent days, the main video game portals and social networks have been constantly talking about the frame rate of the next releases. After the controversy caused by the knowledge that Gotham Knights will run at 30 frames per second on next-gen consoles, other games that will be released soon have been questioned on the same terms.
This was the case with Pentiment, the next game from Obsidian which will be released on Xbox next November. Obviously, Pentiment doesn’t aspire to be a game like Gotham Knights, but that doesn’t stop Obsidian from wanting to confirm that its next Xbox release will run at 60 frames per second
Pensivement at 60 Fps on Xbox
Josh Sawyer Design Director of Pentiment has confirmed this technical data of Pentiment on social networks, offering a wide variety to run from Xbox Series to Xbox One, the game will be released on all current Xbox platforms. If all goes according to plan, Pentiment will debut on Xbox and Xbox Game Pass on November 15.
60 fps on S (1440p) and X (4K) series. On the other Xbox it runs at 60fps (1080p) except for a few drops in our (limited) 3D scenes.
