According to insider sources, voice recordings for the localized versions of Persona 6 are already taking place. However, this has not been officially confirmed.
People are still waiting in vain for official news about the release of Persona 6, although one or two upcoming events like The Game Awards would be ideal for an official reveal.
A user now reported on X, formerly Twitter @ryanfromthebronx who most people would probably know from the Midori insider account.
He claims that Persona 6 is now in localization. Since this is mainly only initiated at the end of the production cycle, it is supposedly certain that the development and the Japanese voice recordings are almost final.
“At the end of the day, anything is possible and development on Persona 6 has progressed towards localization. However, the development of the DLC expansions has been moving slowly since last month.”
The timing would fit with reports from HeadOnTheBlock, which claims Persona 6 has a completion rate of around 95 percent.
This describes the JRPG as a semi-open world title, and DLCs are already being planned for two to three years after publication.
It remains to be seen when there will be official reports from ATLUS.
