Pet Hotel Review – Running a Hotel is a Very Animal Task

Animal, Hotel, Pet, Review, running, task

Pets Hotel is a simulation and management video game in which we will have to take care of all types of pets, from dogs to turtles.

Pets are an integral part of our lives. These animals are usually part of the family and that's why we want all their needs and whims covered. For lovers of these animals, here is Pets Hotel, a title developed by Games Incubator and published by Ultimate Games, where you will be in charge of a hotel where the guests are pets.. If you're a fan of management and animals, stick to the Xbox community, where you can experience everything this title has to offer. We begin.

Hair beak paw

Pets Hotel offers us a very simple and relaxing principle, running a hotel for pets. We are faced with a management title that is completely affordable for a casual audience. The game has tutorials where we are taught the basic mechanics of the title, which we recommend playing, because if we go directly to challenge mode or free mode we will find ourselves a little lost. Different types of pets are welcome at the hotel, from dogs and cats to turtles and fish. Each of the animals has specific needs, in addition to an adequate stay. This is where various mini-games come in, very simple but which add variety to the title. Whether it's bathing a dog, clipping its nails, or playing with a turtle, it's all solved with a series of very simple mini-games.

Maintain, hire and build

In addition to taking care of the different animals, we will also have to ensure that we grow our business. With every satisfied customer, we will earn money that we can use for a multitude of things. We can expand our hotel by creating new rooms that can accommodate a larger number of pets.. We can also hire different people to speed up the work, from receptionists to caregivers, adding a strategic touch to the title.

A negative point of the Pets Hotel is its controls. It's true that they aren't bad per se, but they are a bit chaotic and their menus are a bit slow and confusing. These are well suited to controllers, but the title is clearly focused on playing with a keyboard and mouse. Another negative aspect is its repetitiveness. The first few hours are very enjoyable and fun, but over time the game becomes extremely repetitive.. We will still do the same thing, but with higher activity saturation. The loading times don't help in this regard either, as they are quite numerous and longer than we would like.

Graphically just…

If we talk about the graphics and technical section, Pets Hotel is very basic. It's true that the game runs well on Series X. I haven't witnessed any type of frame drops or bugs, but graphically it's very simple. The textures, expressions and lighting are not worked at all, everything is just consistent, and the title could pass for a previous generation game. Perhaps the aspect where the video game stands out the most in terms of graphics is the recreation of the different animals. Despite this, we are not going to punish the work of Games Incubator, since we are dealing with an independent who, perhaps, had a fairly tight budget.

In terms of sound, Pets Hotel delivers without much fanfare. The melodies that accompany us throughout the game are relaxing and friendly, although they can be repeated excessively. The sounds made by the different animals, such as barking or meowing, are satisfying and believable, but, ultimately, there is no great boasting in this regard either.

Conclusions

Pets Hotel isn't a bad game at all, but it fails in many ways. In the first few hours it's very relaxing and fun, but it becomes somewhat repetitive as the hours go on. All of its mechanics are simple and none of them go into depth, which goes against the video game itself. All this, combined with somewhat erratic and confusing controls and a graphics section that is not surprising at all, makes the video game fun for people with little experience in the management genre, or for short gaming sessions. Despite this, we enjoyed Pets Hotel and find it to be a simple, straightforward and fun game.
