A mysterious theater with demons, magic masks and lots of action awaits us in Phantom Hellcat, the new Ironbird creations.
After several weeks, the Opening Night Live of Gamescom keep giving something to talk about. This time we want to let you know about phantom hellcata fast and beautiful action title hack’n’slash whose main characteristic is the change of perspective.
Its first announcement left us with some small bits of gameplay that, at first glance, we found quite interesting. You can see it at the end of this article. Moreover, it was also revealed main synopsis of the book:
“A mysterious theater holds a dark secret: demons are held captive inside, watched over by a lone overseer. When one of the seals loses its power, the forces of evil kidnap its keeper to another dimension. And what remains of her is her rebellious teenage daughter, Jolene. Although her mother’s craft is difficult to imitate, Jolene must master it as soon as possible. He must wear magical masks to go through murderous deeds in order to eclipse a mysterious thief and save his family.”
In Phantom Hellcat we will find quick fights, classics of the genre. Will have destruction of scenarios and we can use objects in the environment as a defense. In addition, we will have several types of weapons at our fingertips, as well as special powers that we can unlock through skins. These will be used to improve Jolene’s stats or unlock new abilities.
The adventure will end with a theatrical atmosphere with many whimsical touches. We will have several interconnected worlds, as well as a wide variety of enemies and powerful final bosses. But, without a doubt, what caught the most attention was the gameplay, since will alternate between 3D combat and 2D platforming sections. Something that reminded us a lot of the formula of the NieR saga.
The title will be developed by Ironbird Creationsan internal study by the publisher All in! Games (known for publishing other games like Ghostrunner or Chernobylite). This new IP will go on sale current 2022 for Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
