Phil Spencer is clear, Psychonauts 2 is his game of the year

As you all already know, The coming month will see prestigious accolades at all of the industry’s Game of the Year awards.

Our dear Xbox director, Phil spencer, clearly has a favorite for the game of the year.

Larry hyrb, Also known as Major Nelson, is another Xbox manager who has a special relationship with the user on their own website or podcast. In a recent conversation with Phil Spencer,

he said that Psychonauts 2 it’s probably their game of the year. He also praised it as the best game that Double Fine Productions has published to date:

Frankly for me [Psychonauts 2] it’s probably my game of the year, just [un] fantastic game […] In my opinion, as a Double Fine fan, [es] the best game ever.

Spencer also recalled playing the original game prior to the release of Part 2 and said he was surprised at how tough it is still today.

Before the release of Psychonauts 2 I went through backward compatibility and replayed the original Psychonauts, just reliving those moments, I was so impressed with how it holds up.
